"Where The Light Touches The Earth"
One-of-a-kind original pyrography artwork
£250
Free-standing | Sealed in Danish oil | Signed on the back
This piece isn’t just art—it’s a story burned into ancient, live-edge pine wood.
Created from a fallen piece of tree found on a quiet dog walk, this artwork began with a feeling—something guided and powerful. What unfolded was a soulful tribute to transformation, spiritual guidance, and the unseen threads that lead us home.
Inspired by the emotional journey in Brother Bear, the composition features a protective bear and cub beneath a sacred mountain, illuminated sky, and the constellation Ursa Major—the Great Bear—watching from above.
Five Norse runes are subtly burned into the wood, each placed with deep intention:
Raidho on the big bear’s heart: the journey, change, progress
Eihwaz on the cub: strength, trust, resilience
Othala among the trees: ancestral roots, belonging
Algiz between them: protection, intuition, divine connection
Sowilo on the mountain: soul illumination and spiritual truth
Even the aurora borealis carries hidden symbolism, subtly shaped like the eagle spirit from the film—guiding silently from the sky.
The natural shape of the wood allows the piece to stand freely, making it ideal for shelves, altars, or display without framing.
Details:
30cm x 18cm
Mixed media: pyrography, white paint detailing
Sealed with Danish oil for protection and longevity
Comes with a handwritten rune meaning card
💫 Only one available.

Please Note:
Minor shedding of bark chips from edges can occur over time. This is a natural part of live edge wood and not a fault.
Handle with care, especially around the bark and edges.
Display indoors, away from direct sunlight, dampness or extreme temperatures, to keep the wood in its best condition.
A gentle dusting with a dry soft cloth is all that’s needed. Avoid polishes and sprays.
